Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition organised the 10th edition of African Meeting of Infant Nutrition (RANI) in Cairo (Egypt), the 4 and 5th of April 2019.
The theme of this 10th edition was: « Colics, regurgitations, constipation: adopt the nutrition reflex? ».
The 10th edition of the African Meeting of Infant Nutrition (RANI) was devoted to functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs) in infants, and to the role that nutrition can play in relieving these common phenomena in early childhood. ROME IV defines seven FGIDs in newborns and very young children1. The 10th edition of RANI event, deepened three of the most commonly encountered disorders in clinical practice: regurgitation, infantile colic and constipation in infants2.
