ELNNA

Our company

With over 100 years of caring for babies and inspired by 40 years of research into breast milk and early life nutrition, Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition combines science and experience to support parents, careers and healthcare professionals.

At Danone, we support the World Health Organization (WHO) global public health recommendation that calls for exclusive breast-feeding for the first six months of age and continued breast-feeding up to two years and beyond, combined with the safe introduction of appropriate complementary foods.

As a company, we continually strive to improve, whether in terms of our products for mothers, babies and toddlers; services to parents and healthcare professionals; or our contribution to the field of early life nutrition. That’s why our research never stops. At Danone Nutricia, we are committed to actively contributing to new scientific insights and discoveries in the field of early life nutrition.

Our findings enable us to:

  • Provide education and services to parents and the healthcare professionals who support them.
  • Create nutritionally beneficial products to positively influence the short- and long-term health of non-breastfeed babies and toddlers.
  • Contribute to the growing body of research that is helping to shape the future health of generations to come.

Danone Nutricia’s work reflects Danone group’s overall mission: to bring health through food to as many people as possible. In our case, it’s to mother’s-to-be, mothers, babies and young children. Supporting and educating healthcare professionals in the field of early life nutrition is also a crucial part of our offering.

At Danone Nutricia, food quality and safety are our top priority. We have strict policies in place to guide every stage of the production process and every one of our employees is expected to help us meet our exceptionally high standards.

As a company dedicated to health, we take our social responsibility very seriously. We put our beliefs into practice, adopting environmentally sustainable processes where possible, and supporting the local and wider community through ongoing health initiatives.
